Overview of the Files in Your Kit

Your Happi Daze logo and t-shirt designs are included in several different formats:

  • 2x and 3x .png files

  • .pdf (vector images)

  • .svg (vector images)

Each format has a specific purpose. The vector files (.pdf and .svg) are the “master” versions and are the best to use whenever possible, especially for printing and production.


2x and 3x PNG Files

What they are:
PNG files are raster images (made of pixels, like a photo). The “2x” and “3x” simply mean they’re saved at 2–3 times the normal resolution, so they look extra sharp on modern screens.

Key points:

  • Great for:

    • Social media posts

    • Website graphics (banners, hero images, mockups)

    • Quick previews and presentations

  • Support transparency: You can place them on different background colors without a white box around them.

  • Fixed size: If you scale them up too much, they’ll eventually look blurry or pixelated.

How to use:

  • Use 2x PNG for most web and digital uses.

  • Use 3x PNG when you need extra crisp detail (large on-screen display, big mockups, etc.).

  • Perfect when you need to send someone a quick view of the design without worrying about special software.


PDF (Vector Images)

What they are:
These are vector-based PDFs, which means the artwork is built from paths and shapes, not pixels.

Why they’re the best for most production work:

  • Scales to any size with no loss of quality – from a business card to a billboard.

  • Print-ready: Ideal for screen printers, sign shops, embroidery companies, and promo product vendors.

  • Easily editable by designers: Colors, outlines, and layout can be adjusted cleanly in professional design software (Illustrator, Corel, etc.).

Great for:

  • T-shirt printing (screen print, DTG, DTF)

  • Stickers, signs, banners, posters

  • Menus, brochures, and any printed marketing materials

  • Large-format items (windows, walls, vehicles)

How to use:

  • When a printer or vendor asks for “vector art,” “high-res logo,” or “print-ready file,” send them the PDF vector.

  • This should be treated as one of your primary master files.


SVG (Vector Images)

What they are:
SVG files are also vector, just in a web-friendly format. They are code-based shapes, not pixels.

Key advantages:

  • Infinitely scalable without losing quality (like the PDF).

  • Small file size – loads fast on websites.

  • Crisp on all screens, including Retina and 4K displays.

  • Developers/designers can sometimes recolor or animate them using code.

Great for:

  • Website logos (especially in the header/footer)

  • Icons and small graphic elements on the site

  • Web apps, dashboards, and digital signage

How to use:

  • Use SVG for your logo on websites and digital interfaces whenever possible.

  • Web developers and designers will usually prefer SVG over PNG for logos and icons.


Why the Vector Files Are the Best

The vector files (.pdf and .svg) are the most important and highest-quality versions of your Happi Daze branding because:

  1. They stay perfectly sharp at any size.
    Resize them from 1 inch to 20 feet with no blurring or pixelation.

  2. They’re production-ready.
    Printers, sign makers, embroidery shops, and promo vendors all prefer vector art because it gives them clean edges, accurate colors, and professional results.

  3. They’re editable and flexible.
    Designers can adjust colors, outlines, and layout without degrading quality, which is essential as your brand grows and you add more materials.

  4. They protect brand consistency.
    By always starting from vector art, every shirt, sign, and web graphic stays true to the original Happi Daze look.


Quick Guide: What to Send to Whom

  • Screen printer / sign shop / merch vendor:
    → Send the PDF vector (and mention that SVG is available if they prefer).

  • Web developer or website builder:
    → Send the SVG for logos + PNGs for mockups and supporting graphics.

  • Social media / emails / mockups / internal previews:
    → Use the 2x / 3x PNG files.
